Our public events are designed especially for train loving kids, giving them the chance to step into a world of tracks, tunnels, sheds, and endless train adventures.

What to expect:

  • Giant Train Track Setup – help the motorised trains zoom around track, tunnels, and stations. Add carriages and control the direction for interactive, hands on play.
  • Creative Play Corners – train themed colouring, dress up and reading corners.
  • Family-Friendly Atmosphere – comfy spaces for parents to sit back while the kids are entertained.

Babies are free! Little ones not yet joining in with the trains are welcome at no cost.

What is TrainTopia?

Traintopia is a mobile train-themed play experience for train loving kids. We set up nostalgic Tomy train tracks with motorised trains in community halls or event spaces for little ones to explore and enjoy. There’s also sit on train experiences, dress up, and a book corner, to provide a variety of train-tastic fun.

Our events are designed for toddlers and preschoolers, although all ages are welcome to join in the fun. In general, we find that one to six year olds get the most out of it.

Yes, children must be supervised by a parent or caregiver at all times.

Yes, spots are limited. We recommend booking early to avoid missing out.

Absolutely! Be it children’s parties, corporate functions, or community group activities, we love helping create a memorable private event! Check out our Parties page for more information, and to book.

Sessions typically run for 45–60 minutes of free play, with plenty of trains and space for everyone.

Just your child and a sense of adventure! We recommend comfy clothes for play.

We pop up in community halls and event spaces around Sydney — check our Events page for upcoming sessions near you.

We keep the environment calm and welcoming. The motorised trains make a distinctive noise, so earmuffs are recommended for those with specific aural sensory requirements.

Yes, snacks are totally fine — just keep food away from the train setup, and be mindful of allergies.

We have snacks available for purchase on the day too.
